April is a time to celebrate our beautiful planet with a simple earth day project. Take a grocery bag. Open it and cut it in half. Use each half to create a poster for Earth Day. Let your child draw their ideas for how to save earth's endangered animals, or ways we can stop climate change, or ideas for recycling, their plans for ending pollution. Have them do research to come up with their own solutions to save our precious earth. Then display their poster on your frig or wall. Snap a photo and share it on Facebook or Instagram. Alternatively, your students can create their Earth Day poster on a grocery bag, gather up as many as they create and drop them off at a local grocery store to be used by patrons. They will love it!
